She looks a bit yellow in this scan, but couldnt get it better. But I'll try to get a better scan up when i have a bit more time. The background is actually yellow so thats no mistake. But the skin actually is soft pink kinda. So I have to say that in real life it looks way better...
I saw this picture in the magazine what was an extra with the newspaper and wanted to draw it so here it is.
It's actress Carice van Houten who I first saw in the movie Blackbook (Zwartboek).
When I started i was really scared that I would mess it up with the coloured pencils (most of the coloured pencil drawings of me end up like that...) but it turned out pretty well I think.
Any advice on coloured pencils would be welcome anyway

Colored pencils are hard, and skin is the worst--never scans right. I actually scan as I draw, to show me gaps in my work and tell me if I'm pulling off the color I want (for future prints and whatnot). I usually need LOTS of color--layers and layers--before I find the shade I'm looking for.
This is great! And the hair is awesome. Looks totally real! Hari it hard. She looks so pretty. I kind of like the paleness of it. Makes it feel light and ethereal.
